To the Environment

Host America uses Greenware sustainable products for many of its disposable itemsHost America Corporate Dining has made a commitment to act responsibly toward the environment.  As a part of that effort, many commonly used items (plates, cups, and food containers), available at Host America facilities have been converted to newly developed "Green" products.  These recently developed "Green" products are manufactured from renewable natural fibers and corn products processed without bleaches and are fully biodegradable.

Host America is proud to be one of the very first food service providers to move to these truly environmentally friendly food service items.

 
To our Local Economy

Host America Corporate Dining is a proud participant in Connecticut's Farm to Chef program.  This program helps connect Connecticut chefs and food service professionals with growers, producers, and distributors of CT Grown products.  This allows Host America to provide our clients with Locally Grown Produce, which is the freshest, highest-quality products available.   The CT Farm to Chef Program helps an estimated 50,000 local growers each year to contribute to your customer's local economy.
